Request account on IRC bounce server

Sorry to anyone whose reply I didn't acknowledge on IRC earlier today - it's because I didn't realise as a new IRC user that it does not keep chat history and so having closed the application, I could not see any responses.

I understand I need access to a bouncer server from this: https://wiki.pioneerspacesim.net/wiki/Bouncer. It says "When you're given an account on the bouncer" - how do I request an account?

Come by IRC (as your current nick).

Thanks for the info on IRC. After much trial and error, I think I have the bouncer working with my Konversation IRC client, but I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow when I start up my IRC client and see if there is any message history.
