Okay, been playing around with the bitmap again, same issue with crashing when ever I change it to another greyscale image???
I checked the output file before and after changing galaxy_dense, crashes at line 199 column 42 when it is loading NavLights, no idea why?

Okay then, I may know what the problem is, it has to do with density. I replaced half of the bmp with my replacement, half was original. It loaded. Maybe there are too few stars loading into the area around sol???

I expect if you change the bitmap, the universe will change, and thus you'll break saves.

And now it's working, had to add two screen layers to the image I was using to increase the density around the mid rim.

Also was loading a new game, I expected that loading in a new map would break the save.
