The flu... flux... what? Damn, we have to start all over again!
Anyway, with the new flux capacitor added, these are the new ship stats (I am spamming the forum today :)):

Though it still can't time travel...

For a second I forgot Auronox made high-performance ships.

While testing the ship, I "crashed" one of the prototypes into a gas giant because of the lack of thrust. That would make a practical fuel scoop impossible. Also when filled to full capacity the ship has (or rather "had") handling problems.

Now, it has better thrusters and is easier to handle. Delta-V also increased slightly. But all these improvements increased the cost of the ship too. The design became more expensive with the new propulsion system.

Does my DDS plugin has a problem?
GIMP seems to be able to read DDS files exported by my GIMP but cannot read other DDS files.
Pioneer says

when I try to use my DDS as a texture.

Do you have all the files as a mod so I can test it?
Just having a lone DDS file makes this tricky as I can't see what Pioneers doing when loading it.

I usually create the .model and ship file right away, I find it easier to work that way.

@fluffyfreak: it wasn't in DXT1 or DXT5. Fixed it in this mod file.

Sidenote: mods doesn't seem to work for me. Might be a zip error, but I have to check.

There are misplaced commas in the json file, you will have to fix them.

I started creating the textures, basic stuff is done, but I have some problems.

1- I can't seem to get the "distressing of spaceflight" effects right (mostly because of my incompetence + lack of mousepad). So I reverted all my changes and the ship seems like it is fresh out of the shipyard.

2- The hull's AO bake gets darker towards the landing gear, but the landing gear's bottom is pretty white (i.e. colors don't match). I've tried baking the landing gear over and over again, but they do not match. I've tried painting them myself to roughly match the colors, with no luck.

3- no paintjobs

Few notes:
* GIMP files are half the size (you need to mirror it) but twice the quality (4096px).
* You might need to export the landing gear UV's from blender and import them into GIMP separately because blender didn't let me export all of the UV's at once. They should apper close to the lower left corner.

I added and fixed the decal thing.

Hull under the label will need to be painted something else than white while creating paint patterns. Too white at direct sunlight, hard to read.
