I'm fascinated by that grid texture, what program are you using to create these ships and is that grid texture a feature in the program to help with the skinning process?

Yes, that grid is generated by Blender, so you can see what you are doing when you unwrap the mesh for texturing.

Progress on this tiny one.
Textures are ready, albeit hires for now. so next are the LOD-ing, and the billboard lights/decals.
Here's the mod file. Please give her a spin and give feedback. Stats might need some fine-tuning. Don't be surprised by the generous amount of left-right thrust, it's because of the higher amount of thrusters.

Varada is in the latest build, incase it went unnoticed.

There is one thing that's been bugging me in Varada - its "cut" nose breaks ship's otherwise streamlined shape without serving any apparent purpose (since Varada can't mount weapons and its retros aren't nose mounted) - maybe at least mount a Kanara-style sensor pack there to avoid making it look someone crippled ship's aerodynamic profile for the sake of looking cool?
Also, we need to filter ship spawns, for example neither unarmed ships, nor ships without jumpdrive should spawn in hyperspace exit ambushes.
