Thanks CharlieG

This is not the first 'open source' project I have contributed to but it's certainly one I wish to continue the expansion of my contribution to, no matter how long that takes. It appears that most find my contribution to the game pleasing judging by the donations that have come in so that motivates me further (it's a bonus, no doubt! Thanks again to those who have! :D )

Perhaps consider setting up a Patreon account. That could be an alternative approach. It is gaining traction for scrawl over at OpenMW, plus a few people on OpenGameArt.

Thankyou!!
It will look a whole lot better very soon :)
Think of the current mod pack as a taster for for the future.

I was thinking if we could add some more "randomness" by mirroring (all? Except clothes?) assets around the vertical axis? For instance, some of the hairstyles are asymmetric, in that they have their hair parted to on side. Also, I suspect this might make a pair of seemingly symmetric eyes to look different?

Friendly reminder on ensuring this doesn't slip into the darkness of the forgotten Interwebs!

@charlieg I think Evarchart is engaged in developing a new Amiga game (Scourge of the Underkind development thread), the good news is that progress on that is fast, and looks really good. I hope he'll come back eventually. It's not like pioneer development has a lot of momentum at the moment (only fluffyfreak, and a bit of laarmen). It comes and goes.

And I just started a new job :)

It'll settle down and things will pick up again, that's just how things are.

Just a real quick message to let you guys know I haven't forgotten about you!!

This year has been incredibly hectic, and my circumstances have changed drastically since the last time I was able to work/chat with you guys!
Yes, I continue to work on my art, and also my Amiga game (a dream project for me) and as a result I believe it was all too much for my relationship to handle. Not to drag it down. Sorry guys. :)

I hope you are all well, I hope one day to come back and finish the work I started on your game. I think about it often.

I will drop by again very soon, in the meantime keep having fun! :D

Hey!

Good to see you back, very sad to hear about what sounds like less fun times in the real world.

I can report that Pioneer will (as it currently appears) get a new UI and since my last post above, Pioneer has gained a lot of momentum, with a new programmer joining (ecraven). The face-part-picker (for devs/artists/players) that you requested a while back* is on the table.

*As usual in pioneer time frame, i.e. "a while back" ~ 1-2 years ago?

I hope things get better for you.
