Here's the police light fighter version of that SolFed fighter I've sketched a while ago. The one I've showed for feedback on IRC several times. I'd like to propose it as a replacement for the Kanara (altogether. I'd like to see the current Kanara cut. It would be hard to keep it consistent with the other lines, and it doesn't make too much sense with those winglike structures for example.). I'd keep the name though for this SolFed yard, and future ships would use area names from around the world too.
What do you think of this?

A two seated light fighter with low deltaV and sans hyperdrive, but high thrust. The cannon is turreted, and there are two missile launch tubes too. There could be civilian version of it on the market too, with different color scheme and a bit different stats (a bit less thrust, more deltaV and capacity and maybe a hyperdrive for the adventurous).
Texturing and LOD needs to be finished, but the mesh is ready to rumble.

This is looking fantastic - the texture looks great.

I'm fine with removing the Kanara. It was always something of a stopgap, and yes, it doesn't quite fit.

Beautyful. I like how the rear gears "hides" inthe winglets shape. :)

Transparent cockpit? Is there going to be a little space dude(ette) in there, or will the final model have an solid screen?

Right now I will keep it solid and reflective. Something like an EVA suits sun protecting visor.

This ship is now flyable, but it needs a bit more work. Anyway, give her a spin to test it and tell me if there's any issue with it.
This mod overrides the old Kanara, so these will come at you if you upset the locals or using the combat test with ctrl+F12

Stat's are about the same, except that it got far more expensive.

It only has the bounding box collision model right now, no pattern label or decal or glow texture. And the diff texture needs a bit of care too.
