City Addons

My Main task is to create set of ships but I couldn't resist to post also these scratches...

It can be Example of Mining city or low atmosphere planet:

It's very early scratch, very primitive, to show idea
Red objects represents big ships landed and blue represents holders for landing pads for smaller ships

That's pretty awesome and Pioneer definitely needs both more diverse buildings and buildings for different types of environments.

I love the dome anchored with tension cables for vacuum/low pressure atmospheres, and have always liked underground docking bays in Frontier.

One question - does the dome and supporting structures extend underground? Because Pioneer has a lot of uneven terrain and often places its cities there. Making structures look good while partially buried or overexposed is tricky.

We can't - currently - support subterranean bases.

We could do with different sets of buildings for different environments, that's something we don't support right now but again, we could.

But remember it is early stage, not finished yet.. I am working on to modify supports and some details...

I fully understand that this can be a problem for now. I talked to nozmajner about it... Well, it can be put in "waiting Room' or never be used... just an idea

Awesome stuff!

We definitely need domes and similar structures for planets lacking atmosphere.

A few of these different domes (but non.subterranean), and we have cooler cities for vacuum worlds!

Even if we can't do subterranean buildings (hopefully just yet), it would be nice for models to stretch more than a bit underground, in case game places them on terrain that will leave the bottom of the model exposed.

As for different types - this (awesome) dome here looks rather small to mid-sized, some bigger ones would be nice as well.
Would it be possible to implement domes with interchangeable interiors, ATM?
