The "bug" could be that
1. the Trade.lua script should not crash Pioneer just because a ship does not have the hyperspace range to reach a destination

2. The Hyperdrive class ranges probably need "rebalanced" now that Pioneer has stepped away from Frontier and larger ships are starting to appear.

Just out of interest (and since I am doing some work on the Venturestar) what values (the .lua file values) have you set for the Venturestar so that I can test them?

Sorry guys for the lack of activity, but my workload has just exploded. Everyone decided it would be a good idea to decorate before Christmas. Pretty much same as last year, but I think I will be able to do some work on the ships over the Christmas holidays. Its usually a quiet period.

Christmas decoration in October? :D No need to apologize.
I think I'll put the two ship you made in the game, there isn't really glaring issue with them, and we will fix what needs to be fixed later. Sinonatrix will have the small size I suggested. If you don't mind, of course.
(They are already on the wiki, even a lineup in the OPLI article. :) ).

And for a bit of ship fun: Here are all the ships lined up in BGE, you can run around them to check the scale (press P, then standard WASD).

Well, if it takes me 2-3 weeks to do the job, and I have 5 customers lined up waiting, than I need a time machine to finish it all up :D

I have just realized I haven't uploaded the rescaled model...
so here it is:

Thats amazing, thanks! The ship stats need tweaking, to bring them in line with the rebalance Nyankosensei was doing.

I just noticed a thing about Xylophis. It looks like its doors opens to the outside. Shouldn't it be the opposite? In a space ship, the air inside "pushes" to the outside. The air pressure tries constantly to open the door, which is a weak point in the hull. If the door opens to the inside, on the other hand, the pressure would keep it closed.

@Tichy: you've got point. Nyankosensei?

@Torham: I've adjusted the navlights a bit, and added the tag points for cameras and cannon for the Sinonatrix. I used the lamp mount for cannon mount for now. I intended that part for gun mount, I just realized I didn't indicated that info anywhere :D.
Here's the imported file with the new empties.
How do you want to be credited? I'll write Torham2234 for now, but it can be changed later if you want.

Edit: I've adjusted the stats a bit, 185t hull seemed to be a bit heavy in for me, so I've made it 20t and adjusted the thrusts, so it has the same main acceleration, and adjusted the retro and lateral thrusts too.

I've put up both ships for inclusion.
I've added the tags to the Nerodia too, and adjusted the price of it to about 1.5million credits.
Edit: here's the model with the tags.

Let's give the players some more ships to fly and crash :)

@Niankosensei: you might want to include them in the rebalance mod. :)
