This is a game I've played on Android and I thought it was worth the price for the whole game and DLC and played it through to finish.
The gameplay, missions and so forth are great, although there is a fairly story driven element to it, however, you can ignore the story and do your own thing if you like, although certain upgrades and so forth require completing story elements.
There was a crash I had to work around too but I think they've fixed that now.
I've read the steam reviews and it seems like the PC version isn't worth it without the DLC.

There is a Galaxy on Fire 3, however that was far less fun IMHO.

What would be, say, the top 3 things to bring to Pioneer?
Elite 3 Frontier: First Encounters, had story mission, that ended up giving the player that cool special ship. I'd like to see some missions give player unique equipment (we have the code for it, just no mission that make use of it).
