Playing around in lua, I found it difficult to figure out what unit distance was measured in at times.
I put together an lua class for distance, and wondering if this is something most devs would be interested in?

Sorry for late reply, but our main Lua-guy has a lot on his plate, but you do have a point about the units, and we might be interested.
If you have the code finished, we could take a discussion in a PR, if not then maybe not invest time to finish it unless you want to, as I can't promiss it will be merged.
In general, we would definitely like more lua contributors, and with moving our UI to Lua now we need more people for sure.
