Hi,

Just downloaded the latest build (20140701) but I can't seem to play more than a few minutes without crashing to desktop. I'm always getting some sort of .lua file popup error message box.

So far I've been crashing mainly while;

-Accessing menu's in the game such as the market.
-Travelling to another spaceport or planet.
-Taking off, hyperspacing...
-Loading save games and crashing shortly after.

the crashes just seem to happen randomly...

This is my first time ever playing and was wondering if this game is actually stable enough to actually play for anyone else?
...or is it just really really buggy.

I really love to play it properly since I am a fan of the original Elite Frontier but it just seems more trouble than its worth at the moment.

Hi!

As of June 28 we moved in a lot of new code, thus introducing quite a few game crashing bugs. I hope we fixed most of them yesterday, thus the latest build is more stable then the one you have, please use that one instead.

If you report any remaining bugs on the issue tracker or IRC, it would be a helpful way to further the progress (and stability of pioneer). If you just want stable play, I recommend using a version from before 28th of June.
