Moniker "Dodger-"

An advanced game save start point for the Wave-e that materializes you in the neighboring Wolf 357 system.

The only cash assets you have is $0.36 in cred at the bank
This save is considered a 'high difficulty level' game start position.

Your ship is outfitted with:

Atmospheric shielding
Shield Generator
Scanner
Cargo scoop
Fuel scoop
4 MW Pulse Cannon
4 Missiles (2 Naval Missiles, 1 R40 Unguided Rocket, 1 Guided Missile)
Cargo = 6 tons of water
8% remaining fuel.

Notably missing is an autopilot or any ship crew compliment. (manual piloting skills absolutely required)

Your ship has successfully entered into an eliptical orbit around the ringed gas giant Wolf 359b.
As you prep your ship for some necessary hydrogen scooping, you are attacked by an unfriendly vessel.

Whether you engage or evade the bogey, you must ultimately scoop enough hydrogen so you can use your
hyperdrive to escape the Wolf359 system.

Once you have hyperspaced, using available fuel (including 6 tons of water in cargo bay) try to make it to
a starport in your destination system.
When you are docked at a starport, you can sell any extra hydrogen you have scooped and/or reconfigure
your ship to your liking.

You have the option of exchanging equipment for cash and/or install an autopilot system.
You will need to re-dock to top off your fuel level once you have added enough creds to your account.

From here on out, you are on your own...

save game titled "Wave-e_Escape_from_Wolf359_v201401226".

This save file has been tested with Pioneer vers.20140122 & 201401226 and may or may not work with later
versions of Pioneer

I tried your scenario and I really liked it. I escaped instead of fighting, and I was able to land on Sirius' colony.
The mod didn't wanted to work with it's original filename though, even the modelviewer hanged on it, and even refused to load other models. But renaming the zip fixed it. (I'm on windows, maybe it's a windows specific problem)

Yeah that bogey is a real piece of work ;) - A good one on one combat practice scenario.
I made it fairly easily back to Mars High, though I think you could make it back to Earth and even land there if your frugal with fuel and don't mind the longer trip duration. (or there's always the lighter gravity of the Moon for landing)

In the interest of clarity, did you rename:
LoRes1024x1024_Wave-E-scratched-w-patterns.bao-pioneer20140122-bao_v3.2.zip
HiRes2048x2048_Wave-E-scratched-w-patterns.bao-pioneer20140122-bao.v3.2.zip

...to something shorter?
What did you rename it too before it would work in the modelviewer?

..maybe some restrictions to a mod's archive name length?

Haven't seen this problem before (I'm on win7) will check into this (the mod version I am running is slightly different with an even longer archive name), seems strange though, - glad you found a fix.

Edit: Just ran a check - pulled all other mods out and ran both Hi and Lo res Wave-e versions alone with the save file - and didn't see any load problems. That in itself doesn't necessarily mean that there isn't a problem needing a fix tho.

One possibility is that the save file (at least) may not be so compatible with the previous Pioneer 20140122 since it was resaved in the current Pioneer version 20140126 (my bad)

Another possibility?
I used WinRAR 5.01 (32 bit) to make the mod zip archives, so re-archiving them with a newer or difference zip proggy might make a difference in what archives Pioneer is able to correctly read - but if you simply renamed the archives to make them work? hmmm... odd

HiRes to Wave-e. Win7 here too, only a rename.
I knew I could go to Sol, I scooped 26t of Hydrogen, I just didn't want to. :) And I used most of the propellant geting to the planet, I ended up with about 1/10th of deltaV for landing.

Once in Sirius Lawson's Rock is over 16.5 AU, thats some 'nice' mileage :)

Sometimes I wish there was an option allowing thrust to be measured in terms of available main engine burn time.
(percentage of available fuel remaining is okay until you get down to the low percent numbers, then a finer measure
seems like it would be more helpful.)

Just to be prudent, I have renamed both mods to something shorter (trying to adhere to mod naming conventions)
Also, I've been wanting to improve the wave_e_spec.png - so I took the opportunity to change it's contrast/
brightness a tad. Think it still needs more work though, not quite getting the effect I was hoping for.
Any ideas?

If you get a chance I would appreciate if you could check the latest shorter renamed versions for any improvement,
- since I can't seem to replicate the issue on this end. Hopefully the rename is fix enough, to avoid others
potentialy having similar problems.
