Well on closer inspection, no I don't prefer the old look. I do however think we could have done the separate rings better.

Will be worth looking into the old generation method.

I must say, I really liked this video in the latest news letter, showing the Occulus rift 3D experience, um, in 2D. And there's some nice rings in there as well (around 04:00-06:00) where you see the structure and band gaps.

Oh hell yes, using the Rift with it is amazing. Last time I tried it I spent 2 hours zipping about (using the DK2 I should note) and didn't feel ill until I took it off and ran to answer the doorbell :D

The way E:D works with it is SUPERB, they've got it absolutely spot on.
