I don't think that there is. There's an IndieDB page maintained by Geraldine, there was an idea at one time to have the game be installable using Desura.

Other than that we haven't really gone out of our way to drive attention/market the game since that's not what most of us are interested in.

That's not to say that you wouldn't be welcome to do so :)

The biggest issue is that more attention is a double-edged sword. We, as developers, have a lot of ideas and things that we want to implement so we don't really want more of those which you get a lot of when people turn up. What we really want and need are contributors, people like yourself who see the game and want to do something with it. Texturing ships, changing icons, making new faces ;) modelling ships, stations, translations... a million and one other things, also we'd like more coders! :D

Unfortunately people who can / do contribute are about 1:50 :/

Still if you're interested then I'd say speak to Geraldine over on the SSC forum about what she does with the IndieDB stuff and maybe go from there.

I would love to set up the Facebook page and show screenshots, w.i.ps (my own also) and show links to interesting Youtube videos (Scott Manley mainly haha). I will speak to Geraldine and see what she thinks of it, the last think I seek to do is to draw a bunch of guys/gals in who bombard the forums with allsorts (that's my job).

I do own a Facebook page, but I never set it up or advertised it. I personally don't like Facebook particularly much, and just barely tolerate it for a few friends that aren't anywhere else.

I'm happy to hand it over to you if you want it (or delete it and you can set your own up), but I'd advise you against doing this unless you're willing to maintain it, answer questions, etc. A dead page is worse than nothing.

I could do all of that apart from answering question, I'm still the new guy so maybe this page can be something for the future? I would still like to do it though, I do tend to spend a lot of time on f.b and have several pages on there (wayne ashworth art ***shameless plug folks!!!***).

Maybe it'll encourage you to learn then :)

If you want to do it, you have my blessing. Not that you need it, but if that's useful to you, its yours!
