Player to be able to broadcast messages

Hello. I don't know how easy it would be technically, but i d like to be able to interact more with others, other than "requesting landing clearance".
For example one could send message to other ships "request for 1 ton of hydrogen (or more), say hi, taunt, threat, ask if someone goes to the same place for company-safety-escort",
send message to a starport "send me a list of goods you import/export" so you don't have to land in all starports in a planet to trade or "send me a list of available ships for sale" or "a list of equipment available at the shipyard" -the last one can be deduced from the tech level of the starport-.
