Re: Cockpit view camera tags

Check the view control settings then: Freelook Yaw and Pitch close to the end of the list. There's an analog mapping for both axes, and you can bind keys to them as well. Only the rear direction is missing, since they all rotate 90˚s It rotates the view rather fast, but the cockpit stays visible if ...

Re: Cockpit view camera tags

Hmm, we already have look left-right-up-down binding that works nicely in the cockpit. It turns rather fast, but apart from that it is nice. I knew we had analog axes for it, but did not realize that keys are bindable too.

You don't have to be a member to create a PR. Come by to IRC if you get stuck, the good people there will be able to help (not me, my git-fu is rudimentary at best)

Re: Question about current vertices limitations?

138k vertices should not crash Pioneer. The largest orbital has a similar number of vertices for example, and it doesn't even have lods.
There are no hard rules, but for that ship, I'd say you can go by what the new Sino has for the high lod. So about 30-35k (about the same in triangles).

Yes, I liked that part as well. The varied possibilites such system of modules and such could bring.
