I used Universe Sandbox 2 to get the orbital and planetary data for the few systems I did. Had to do some maths to convert to our format, but it was very useful. Especially the visual editing part.

I agree, this is quite cool, but I agree with impaktor about the wariness to add any more detail to Sol, if this is intended for master.
