I think the ability to filter the sector map with several criteria like population, economy and such would mostly cover this

Out of curiosity I half-prepared and printed the Sino this summer . It took more than a day to do so, and I wouldn't say that the resutls are great. There's also a list in Sectorview, where you can choose the destination star of the selected system

Not sure what you mean. You want an option for the autopilot to be less conservative in terms of fuel? A workaround: you could just accelerate a bit manually, then turn the autopilot back on for the deceleration phase. But be careful not to raise your speed above the remaining deltaV (left side gauge)

Owning multiple ships would be nice, I agree. As far as I know it needs a lot of fundamental refactoring to be possible. Not sure if a dedicated storage station would be a good way of doing it. Right now our stations and starports aren't that representative of what's going on in them anyway I mean. ...

I mean shoud the showing of the ship parts in the other views be tied to an option, or to the cockpit visibility option. Cockpit on would show the ship, cockpit off would not.
