Okay, been playing around with the bitmap again, same issue with crashing when ever I change it to another greyscale image??? Ah crust metallicity, I was using core metallicity values from Space Engine... ooops.

Also the metallicity value, is it referring to surface metallicity, total metallicity or core metallicity.

I was going through the moons on Jupiter in my Sol extended file, revising the ice cover and metalicity percentages of all the moons when I came across Aega. I can't find it online, or in Space Engine? Is it a real satellite of Jupiter or fictional?

Not noticing major changes yet.
Also the version may be 4.3 rather than 4.5, according to the openGL text file.

Graphics updated to GL 4.5
Hi, I just successfully built the latest source of pioneer, replaced GL 3.2 with 4.5. Major renderer is now 4.x, minor renderer is 3.x. All working smoothly, not sure if I am seeing any differences, I'll load up the official release tonight and get screenshots of both the GL 3 and GL 4 versions. For...

Okay kinda got it working (The zoom out zoom in thing), had to start a new game, not as efficient on processing though.

How did Gliese852 do that BTW, I just tried to increase the FAR_MAX to 1024, almost nailed it by changing the threshold, but caused a crash whenever I made the number smaller than 7.5 .

Well I can see why the galaxy map was removed, no point in having it if sector view is upgraded to display the whole galaxy.
