Owning multiple ships would be nice, I agree. As far as I know it needs a lot of fundamental refactoring to be possible. Not sure if a dedicated storage station would be a good way of doing it. Right now our stations and starports aren't that representative of what's going on in them anyway I mean. ...

I mean shoud the showing of the ship parts in the other views be tied to an option, or to the cockpit visibility option. Cockpit on would show the ship, cockpit off would not.
The thruster plumes should be placed properly and should move with the cockpit in master.

I could update the camera tags to be properly positioned, if we want this (maybe even in the next release). I would definitelly like to have this. How does that change work? Check the view control settings then: Freelook Yaw and Pitch close to the end of the list. There's an analog mapping for both axes, and you can bind keys to them as well. Hmm, we already have look left-right-up-down binding that works nicely in the cockpit. It turns rather fast, but apart from that it is nice. I knew we had analog axes for it, but did not realize that keys are bindable too.
