Nice! Pioneer sounds and music are really underdeveloped right now. But they contribute a lot to the overall atmosphere. I wish at some point we would have a sound person that guides this aspect of the game as much as nozmajner does for visuals.

I fully support the idea, nozmajner. The points you made also provide more options for gameplay, which is nice (fragile cargo, grumpy/bumpy passengers, etc.). But we do need a g-meter on the HUD then.

What's the aim? I'd say the main aim is to enhance the perception of size of the galaxy and the star systems. To get that across there needs to be a relative comparison. If "regular" traffic would be going through wormholes, which is quick, then traveling without such means could take ver...

Really great ideas! It would put "searching" back into the "Search & Rescue" missions. I like the "save a specific pattern on the scanner" part.

As long as we only make stuff better than Frontier, (like better UI, more information, more missions, more/nicer ships and buildings), we are not in any risk of angering the "type 2" player. I would be disappointed if that is where we'll settle. I know we all nibble at it in our spare tim...
