Re: Code inspiration and rendering resource
(This probably belongs here and not in projects!) This is a fascinating collection of techniques in a blog about generating planetary terrain. Some really interesting topics like craters, snow, terrain variation, dithered fractals, planetary scale erosion, and even different strata affecting the rat...

Re: Compiling Pioneer for Raspberry Pi (ARM)
Sound also works, no crashes so far but some graphical problems, mostly seem to be z-buffer related

Re: Compiling Pioneer for Raspberry Pi (ARM)
There's a chance that this might also work on the Raspberry Pi 4 according to some threads but I have not had chance to test that yet. You WILL need to get the absolute latest and update / upgrade to newest Bookworm release of Raspbian, or get MESA 23.2.1 some other way. name of display: :0 display:...

Re: Compiling Pioneer for Raspberry Pi (ARM)
I don't want to cause any excitement but...

...it seems that the Raspberry Pi 5 now supports OpenGL 3.1, at least enough to get PioneerSpaceSim to start running with a little hacking

Re: Sourceforge will purge our builds
I purged most of the builds as discussed on IRC.
Left behind are the original win32, linux32, and linux64 builds from 2014.
As well as all of the builds downloaded during October.
We can discuss cleaning up those in the future.

Oops :DThis project has a 5GB total file size limit, but is currently using 74.9 GB. Below is a list of large files that don't get much download activity.

Re: Sourceforge will purge our builds
They're not quite spaced out like that sadly, 335 builds across 3 platforms.
I've downloaded them all so I do have them all backed up if we wanted to restore them somewhere in future.
