The ability to pan the sector map would be a welcome change.
Not sure if everything could be put onto joystick, but that would be useful too. On the other hand, the mouse and keyboard controls shouldn't be dumbed down in order to do that in my opinion. The bane of a lot of console ports.

Re: Machine learning ("AI") as a face generator
These days it seems like they want to automate the interesting parts of at least art, but neglect the actually boring, repetitive and ucreative parts.

Re: Machine learning ("AI") as a face generator
The more I look at these face and human generators, the more dead the output seem.
And the more I think about genAI, the more I come to the opinion that I'd avoid having any such thing in Pioneer.

Re: Art inspiration album
I do have some vague ideas about adding some existential dread and eldritch horror to the lore. Subtle, and in the background for the observant players.

Re: Music
Hi! Welcomem, and thanks for taking interest in contributing! :) There's a long music contribution thread you might want to peruse, there's some discussion on music. Also I'd suggest dropping by on our IRC channel, much easier to get things discussed there (usually people are active at CET evenings/...

Re: Music Contribution
@diduuz I really like this version. Was listening to it on a loop for a while the ther day.
Do you have some git-fu, or should I do the PR for you?
Would you mind if I'd also use it as the music for the release showcase video?
