Re: Implement Bounty mechanism
From lore perspective: how about stations always upload and exchange bounties with all ship computers (in the same vein all ships carry spacenet data packets for an asyncronous internet between systems)? And if it is an inhabited system, then there's a bounty database the computer can access any tim...

Also I would humbly like to point out how asset intensive that approach would be

Re: New game philosophy
That is on my radar, to build more lore and hand-made systems, with a smaller, more elaborate bubble.
There's also a pirate system in the works. Hopefully it will eventually gain gameplay aspects too.
So yeah, we are on the same page with this, it just takes some time to get there.

Re: New criminal offences
Takeoff without clearance fines might be limiting, because some ships require crew, so then there should be some guarantee that you can hire them everywhere. In Frontier Inhad to sit years on the pad to collect enough crew for the Panther Clipper for example.

Re: New criminal offences
I would love a speed limit around stations. And they could announce it when you enter their frame/jurisdiction. And if you are speeding there could be a warning first before getting a ticket. Also. the speed display could turn red to indicate speeding. Maybe there could even be a limit display on th...

Re: Police brutality - Improve the police interaction
I could do an icon variation for when there's business with the police. Like a little notification dot. I think I can't color it selectively though

Re: De-harshed thruster audio
Hi! I think it sounds good in isolation, but in-game it feels muffled and distant, but not in a way the hull would muffle it. About SFX in general, I think there's room for polish in about every sound effect, so if you are interested in contributing, I'd say first play around a bit, and then we can ...

Re: Manually setting the frame of reference?
Thank you for your kind words! The function to set anything as the reference frame is already available. Ctrl+LMB will do exactly that. You can also set it to ships even, and for that, the Follow Position mode of the flight selector right to the reticule will also work. But that's not available for ...

Re: Hyperjump (& black hole) visuals
That simulator, and a video I saw the other day got me thinking about the hyperdrive visuals again. I've put together a rough mockup of how it could look I'm not saying that it is fully realistic, but tries to lean towards that. It compresses everything into a narrow cone forwards the ship, but does...
