Re: Travel time, hyperspace, etc
No one suggested that. ... That's the point of in-system jumps right? You jump to the L-point, then go to the planet. Ok, I'm officially confused. And yeah, that's the point of having better way of going between A and B, but it still would be nice to find some way to make the possibility of actuall...

Re: Travel time, hyperspace, etc
I fully agree with fluffyfreak, that travel should take some time. And I don't think a 3 and a half minute trip to Pluto (33 or so AU) is that excessive or boring. Sol s far from the largest system in Pioneer, though. Multiple systems, or anything involving more massive stars is likely to be far mo...

Re: Asteroid(s)
DraQ if you've got a C::B setup for Pioneer would you mind adding it to the repository? Or updating the existing win32/codeblocks folder with how to get it running? Just give me a moment to remember how I set it up. I think I altered the original premake script, but I'm not sure if it yields full p...

Re: Passenger Cabins OR Passenger SHIPS?
The first part was tongue in cheek. :) Sure I agree that it would be the best to be able to customize everything, maybe even design and assemble ships from scratch, but Pioneer already doesn't support this, for example you can't axe half of its numerous thrusters from Pumpkinseed to obtain version w...

Re: Passenger Cabins OR Passenger SHIPS?
What if you want to strip your seats / empty your cabin to make a makeshift budget freighter? Then you blow up on takeoff due to unsecured cargo stuffed into cabins tearing your ship apart when subjected to multi-G accelerations. :P Besides, you can't fire your crew or strip crew cabins to take a f...

Passenger Cabins OR Passenger SHIPS?
I can't be the only one thinking "what exactly makes Malabar suited for passenger transport and Vatakara for cargo?". I mean stat-wise - cosmetically it's obvious, Malabar's hull is dotted with all those little windows, but the way ship stats currently work it's hard to make this cosmetic ...

Re: Rebalance - third go
My problem with current BS start is that it's boring and ultimately pointless busywork. You spend time mindlessly flying back and forth the only route that exists in the system and clicking all the not too outdated parcel ads you can find. There is no player involvement possible, nothing clever that...

Re: Rebalance - third go
Barnard's Star is currently not a very interesting system, but I think swapping starting ships between Sol and BS start locations would go a long way. Sol is a large and well developed place so even with a tiny shuttle you can find a lot to do there, while in BS pretty much the only interesting thin...

Getting "Asteroid.h|52|error: 'SceneGraph' was not declared in this scope".FluffyFreak wrote:There's a new "TextureCompiler" project for that tool/idea.
Graphics got the "TriplanarMaterial.cpp/h".
Pioneer got the "Asteroid.cpp/h" and "AsteroidBody.cpp/h" files.

For what it's worth I have my vertical thrusts on Num+/NumEnter under my pinky.
