Re: Music Contribution
Please also consider if there's anything that would be useful for the wiki, for future music contributors, like using the BBC, or settings, etc. to reproduce a "sound" that is consitent across all current and future tracks.

Re: Music Contribution
Now I got stuck reading up on MIDI, this was a fun / nostalgic video for me:
"How MIDI in Gaming Works - Sound Profile" (15 min):

Looks like SDL Mixer can be made to play MIDI files, with some massage:

Re: Music Contribution
Just a thought: it's probably a good idea if any potential future contributor can make music in similar style as what's there, so it fits in. I guess midi piano is on the "very easy" end of the scale.
Caveat: I don't know anything about game music.

Re: Music Contribution
Sounds cool, I like it. My only worry is that it's "too different" from what we currently have, would be interesting to see what others think.

Re: Building LUA documentation using NaturalDocs 2.x (Linux)
For completeness, this issue is solved, we now have auto-generated code documentation that will always be up-to-date with master:

Re: Higher time acceleration, autopilot altitude hold, confirmation for equipment purchase
1. Not much to go on here. The scanning missions ("Scout") are new, thus we rely on players to tell us of examples that don't work. Best is to find system/missions where things are out of whack, and provide us with save file, from most recent pioneer build (or better yet: from master branc...

Re: Music Contribution
@diduuz wkfo knows best, but I guess best is to play the game with music and see if there's anywhere you feel there's music missing / need improvement.

Re: My dream for entering stations / cities
This February I did some work on this, I've made a "dev diary" showcasing my progress, and demonstrating some plans: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wD5r37qnwQ For clarity: the outdoor maps in the end are more because I couldn't find any indoor tile sets that looked nice. I imagine we cou...

Well, turns something came out of this Saturday's 'knoting' (Norwegian word, roughly: tinkering)
