Re: System names generation - Italian variant
Can't you get names without the "geological" feature, or are they uncommon in Gaelic? They are indeed uncommon, unless they stem from non-Gaelic origins, e.g. Norse where you can have people names too, e.g. Éirisgeigh (English spelling Eriskay) means "Eric's Island" in Norse. Yo...

Re: System names generation - Italian variant
If you'd like to look ad other solutions, Battle for Wesnoth has a contect-free grammar implementation for place names. OpenTTD also has a placename generator. If you're interested in Scottish Gaelic names, I could dig up my work from OpenTTD. My names there have only 2 parts - first parts is City/M...

Re: In-game lore content
Making a wiki translatable is a tricky thing. The problem is change management - the translations will go out of date pretty fast.
A quick web search let me to https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Help:Translating - maybe something like that could be set up.

Re: Translation question
If it's untranslatable, maybe it should be a placeholder variable?
I still think that "System Administration Resting" is really weird English in any context and I still can't make sense of it.

Translation question
I have a question regarding a string in the main UI:
"This is a difficult start from the System Administration Resting prison station"
I do not understand what "System Administration Resting" is supposed to mean here.

Re: Custom systems
I have been pondering the system names some more - how about having 2 variables, one with an unlocalizable "native name" and one with a localizable "English" name, similar to unit names in 0AD? Then the user could choose which version to display.

Re: new faces
I think the difficulty with these is that they are staring straight at the camera and that their bone structure is mirrored. If the left and right side of the faces was slightly assymetrical, they wouldn't look so uncanny.
