This is wonderful progress.
For me, the most off putting thing in pioneer atm are the horrible disfigured mutant faces that stare at me on every station...

Do note that Sinonatrix generally has RCS on furthest protruding points of the hull. heh, well I put them there... :) I do play KSP as well, so I know a few things about zero G maneuvering.... although with the insane thrust ratios the pioneer engines are using, reality sometimes takes the back seat.

Ok, I love this ship. A few nitpicks and suggestions, though: 1. Those horizontal booms look pretty pointless (if cool). Unladen she feels good and manueverable, but then you'd expect that from a cargo transport :) The cab of a truck can out accelerate most sports cars when it's not pulling anything else! Looks great, I'd like to see some more patterns but they can wait until people feel like adding them. Make it atm...

Looks nice and industrial. :) Some feedback: The polycount is quite good. There are some unoptimized areas, generally around and in the engine and maneuvering nozzles. Or that radar dome. I presume that in the Pioneer universe there is a technology to negate high G forces on the human in the spaceship. Otherwise ships like Varada are really just a very expensive coffin. Human body can tolerate up to around 10 G in short intervals, so small fighter ships which are capable of 20 - 25 G...

This is very good news. its one more reason to use Ngons (especially on blocky models ). I had very little work in terms of vertex optimizing, and I am nearly ready to UV most of the model....

hmm, well, the game does triangulate the model, but there is no visible distortion of textures on the Ngon faces. I did some texting in blender and it seems they have upgraded the algorithm witch maps the Ngons. There is basically no difference in the texture deformation, whether you triangulate or ...
